To or.artspace παρουσιάζει την εικαστική έκθεση Νοικοκυρές που εγκαινιάζεται την Πέμπτη 8 Ιουνίου στις 19:00 και διαρκεί ως και την Κυριακή 18 Ιουνίου 2023.
Οι Νοικοκυρές αποδομούν τους ρόλους τους, αναστοχάζονται, αλλά και απολαμβάνουν, διασκεδάζουν, ενοχλούν.
Το νοικοκυριό τους περιλαμβάνει ζωγραφική, φωτογραφία, βίντεο, ηχητικά έργα, εγκαταστάσεις, καλλιτεχνική έρευνα, performances.
Η ομάδα του Εργαστηρίου Σύγχρονης Τέχνης που συναντήθηκε αρχικά στον Δήμο Χαλανδρίου (2016-2022,https://ergastiriosygchronistechnis.wordpress.com/), μεταφέρθηκε από το φθινόπωρο του 2022 στο TWIXTlab, ένα εργαστήριο «μεταξύ» (twixt) σύγχρονης τέχνης, ανθρωπολογίας και καθημερινής ζωής που ιδρύθηκε το 2014 και εδράζεται στην Εμπεδοκλέους 19 στο Παγκράτι (https://twixtlab.com/). Εκεί, η ομάδα του Εργαστηρίου επεξεργάστηκε για ένα χρόνο το συλλογικό πρότζεκτ Νοικοκυρές και εκθέτει τώρα το αποτέλεσμα στο καλλιτεχνικό εργαστήριο or.artspace, που, από το 2021, φιλοξενεί εκθέσεις και άλλες δράσεις στο χώρο του, Δημητρακοπούλου 89 στο Κουκάκι.

Στην έκθεση Νοικοκυρές συμμετέχουν οι Φρόσω Αναμορλίδη, Σοφία Mudita Αντωνιάδου, ‘Ελενα Ν.Αντωνίου, Ευγενία Βακαλοπούλου, Χρύσα Δημητρακοπούλου, Κάτια Καζαντζόγλου, ‘Αννα Κασιμάτη, Yatren Φιλιώ Κρανιδιώτη, Νάνσυ Λαζάρου, Αλεξάνδρα Οικονόμου, Μαρούλα Παπαναστάση, Στέλιος Siddho Σπυριδάκης.

Housekeepers
or.artspace presents the exhibition Housekeepers, opening on Thursday June 8th at 19:00 and lasting until Sunday June 18th 2023.
The Housekeepers reconsider their roles and deconstruct them, while they also relish, have fun, disturb… Their household consists of painting, photography, video, sound, artistic research, installations and performances.
This exhibition is the result of one year’s work on the subject, by the Contemporary Art Workshop. The group participating in the Workshop has, initially, met at the Municipality of Chalandri (2016-2022, https://ergastiriosygchronistechnis.wordpress.com/) and relocated at TWIXTlab, 19 Empedokleous street, Pangrati, at the fall of 2022. TWIXTlab is a lab situated “in between (twixt)” contemporary art, anthropology and the everyday founded in 2014 by a small group of artists and anthropologists (https://twixtlab.com/). The works of the Housekeepers are now exhibited at or.artspace, the personal workspace of the artist and anthropologist and TWIXTlab founding member, Elpida Rikou, situated at 89, Dimitrakopoulou street, Koukaki, which also hosts exhibitions and other events, since its opening in 2021 (https://orartspace.com/).
